NCC

Our college has a full fledged NCC Department that works under 5 MAHBN Kolhapur. The total strength of this department is 53 Boys Cadets. Every year our cadets participate in various camps such as R. D. Delhi, TSC Delhi, Army Attachment Camps etc and are awarded with various scholarships and prizes. The boys unit is looked after by Lt. Dr. R. S. Naik and the girls unit is looked after by Lt. Mrs. S. S. Kadam.

Today the NCC has enrolled strength of the more than 15 lakh cadets in the country. The motto of NCC is “Unity and Discipline”. The NCC develops discipline, spirit of adventure, leadership, etc.
In our college NCC run under the 5 MAH BN NCC Kolhapur since 1967. The total strength of NCC Department is 53. Every year “B” certificate exam result is 100% and “C” certificate exam result is more than 95%. Among these cadets every year 3 to 5 cadets achieve ‘A’ grade in both examination.
In 2014 SUO Ghule Uday Prakash selected in RDC Parade and Prime Minister Rally held at New Delhi.
In 2015-16 and 2018-19 two cadets selected as Battalion Under Officer of 5 MAH BN NCC, Kolhapur. Namely BUO Pujari Ganesh Maruti and Kumbhar Shubham Jysing.
In 2016-17, 2018-19, 2019-20, three cadets were selected in Army Attachment Camp at Nashik, Ahmedabad, Ahmednagar.
In 2016-17 one cadet were selected in Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
In 2019-20 SUO Chavan Pravin Nandkumar selected was in Thal Sainik Camp, in New Delhi.

Our department organised various social activities such as Blood Donation Camp, Tree Plantation, Swachhata Abhiyan, Pulse Polio Programme, Traffic Control Week, etc.
